Team Line Up Completed
10th Oct - More ins and outs as the Shed complete a busy off season for the Captain
Two more in and one out have completed the Shed line up for the Winter 2013/4 season.
We are sorry to see Aaron return to blighty and wish him all the best for the future.
On a brighter note we are delighted to welcome Sam 'Now Then' Ford and Shelly 'No nickname' Gao to the warm folds of the friendliest team in the league (as long as we are winning...)
Sam is a right handed thinker who is straining on the leash to make his debut. Shelly has a delightful all round game and we can't wait to see her in action.
WELCOME TO BOTH OF YOU!

Another new signing?
17th Sept - Rumours that the Captain has moved again
Have proved to be true!
The team is delighted to welcome Tom 'Scooter' Dixon. Tom is a canny right hander with great shot making abilites.
Welcome on board Tom and good luck for your debut against the Bastards.

Round Two is tonight with a home fixture against GrandYard Cafe
12th Sept - First Home fixture of the season
The Sons will be looking to build momentum from last week's winning start when they play their first home fixture of the season against The GrandYard Cafe. Last season saw a comfortable victory at home for the Sons and a narrow 7-8 reverse away.
The Sons will be without new boy 'Big' Kev Carter and last season's player of the year VC Frank so getting a win will not be straight forward. However when interviewed this morning the Captain was in bullish mood; 'we've got eight good men playing tonight, well six men plus Eileen and Aaron. That will be enough to see us home'.
Tonight will give some sort of measure of the Sons' progress as rivals the Bastards played GY Cafe last week and came away with an 11-4 win.
My prediction: Sons to win 9-6, in a tough, closely fought game.

Sons finalize line up for the new campaign
1st Sept - Two new additions as Captain reveals a strong squad
The Sons squad for the new season has been finalized with two new additions as the team looks to build on last season's dissapointing mid table finish. The new faces are 'Big' Kev Carter and Aaron 'Oi Oi' Loveday. Big Kev brings a wealth of league experience from back in the UK to the team and likes a beer or two so should fit into the setup nicely. Oi Oi moves across from our rivals The Bastards. His pedigree is unclear but the transfer fee was a cheap one. Good luck to both!
In an exclusive interview the Captain said; 'it was a frustrating summer; we were close to a couple of other big deals that didn't come off due to personal terms. However, i'm happy with the two lads who have signed and feel they can help bring back the glory days to Shannxi Lu. The fans deserve it and we're going to make sure it happens this season.
Team line up for the 2013/14 season:
Keith 'The Captain' Kaye - Captain
Frank 'The Yank' Vaughan - Vice Captain
'Big' Kev Carter
Jon 'The Gent' Edwards
Johnny 'The Lover' Fang
James 'The Machine' Hu
Eileen 'Yoga' Kong - Female Player
'Big' Ron Lindsay
Aaron 'Oi Oi' Loveday - Reserve Female Player
'Big' Ryan 'Muzz' Murray
Ryan 'O' Reilly
