On this page we just talk shit about our local rivals
Our three main rivals are the Matrix (commonly known as the Shed B team) and the two teams from The Big (spit) Bamboo, The G-Bastards and the Boo Crew.
Last year we were all in the same division, with the Sons memorabily destroying the Boo Crew both home and away and losing a humdinger to the Shed B team 8-7.
This year both the Boo and Shed B have moved on to pastures new, leaving just the Bastards in our league.
Week Ten rival watch:
Well the Boo Boys are officially having a good season, joint top of a tough division with only one defeat. I guess their straegy of bringing in a group of ringers plus stealing players is working well for them.
The Shed boys laid to rest the debacle that has been the Bastards season last week by pissing all over the dying embers of their league campaign. They can still do the Sons a big favour by actually fielding a team againt 3Cue in their next fixture, unlike in the away fixture when they couldn't be arsed. They've got exactly what they deserved this season; i.e. nothing.
I can't even be bothered to write about the Matrix as they continue to be shite
Week Five rival watch:
Not much to add this week; Bastards got back on track with a big win, Boo Crew look like they are shaping up for a decent season etc etc yada yada yada.
However, The Shed B team, or the Matrix as they like to be called lost AGAIN. This means....wait for it readers... they HAVEN'T YET WON A GAME THIS SEASON!! HA HA HA HA HA HA...
Week Four rival watch:
As the Sons go from strength to strength the Bastards seem to be in crisis. Shambles all round!!! Didn't field a team two weeks running and their season is lying in ruins. If any Bastards are reading this and feel like trying out for a proper team, contact the Captain and we'll arrange a free trial. Although on the evidence of when we played you, significant improved would be required!!!
Also happy to see that the player that the Boo Crew STOLE from us has no wins from his first three games.
Week Three rival watch:
The Miserable Bastards got their asses handed to them by a rampant display from the Shed. COME ON YOU SHED BOYS!!!
We know that the Boo lost for the first time season (unlucky lads...gutted for you) and still waiting on the result for Shed B.
Week One rival watch:
Bastards: Impressive 11-4 victory over the Grandyard. We play the GY this week so let's see just how good that win was.
Boo Crew: 8-7 win. A good start for the lads with the best team spirit in the league (ahem...)
Matrix: LOST 7-8. No idea how they lost but let's hope and pray Stephen or Alex missed a black over the pocket in the final game and they all had a big fight afterwards. Long may their terrible run of form continue. Amen!
